Achievements

KHIST have achieved much since formation and below are just some examples -

KHFC BOARD REPRESENTATION -

One of our key objectives was achieved in March 2011 when Mr Karl Davies was appointed on the board of Kidderminster Harriers as the supporters representative of KHIST. Details

This role continues today and is currently undertaken by Mr Geoff Coles.

FUNDRAISING EVENTS in the Aggborough Suite -

KHIST have run a number of events that have brought in much needed funds such as a concert by the Sons of beaches (March 20110) raised £900 and a re-run of Harriers FA Cup victory at Birmingham City in 2004 (March 2011) yielded £600 all plus bar takings. Details

KHIST also ran a Sports Quiz (September 2011) that raised over £300. Details.

OPERATION FULL HOUSEFebruary 2011 -

A concerted media and fundrasing campaign led by KHIST resulted in a season’s best crowd of 2930 for a home league with Altrincham to bring in much needed income. Donations and the increased crowd resulted in around £40,000 worth of extra revenue. Further details.

KHIST 2020 LOTTERY - launched November 2010 -

A monthly lottery with 70% of the funds raised passed accross to KHFC with cash prizes for winners. The first nine draws have already raised over £15000. Full Details

EXECUTIVE BOX RAFFLESeptember 2010 and 2009 -

The raffle’s organised on behalf of KHFC have raised £1904 for the club. Full details

12th MANAugust 2010 and 2011

KHIST gave supporters the chance to be assigned KHFC squad number 12 shirt for the whole season and recieve associated benefits. Full details

HARRIERS ARMS REFURBISHMENT - Summer 2010 -

A significant contribution towards the improvement of the Harriers Arms pub at the ground.

2010 WORLD CUP DRAWJuly 2010 -

A raffle that raised £529.19 with each entrant recieving a World Cup team.

KHIST FANS DAY -

The KHIST fans team play at Aggborough Stadium at the end of each season. In 2011 four games were played including special guests Kim Casey, Paul Davies, Mick Tuohy, John Deakin, Delwyn Humpreys and Jon Purdie and raised £1700 plus bar takings. In 2010 we raised £1631.00 and £1000 in May 2009 that was donated to KHFC.

OVERNIGHT STOPS -

In 2009 KHIST donated money for shares to enable the first team to stop overnight to prepare for a couple of games as the team pushed towards the play offs.

PROVIDING FUNDS TO BRING IN PLAYERS AND STAFF -

KHIST have provided funds on numerous occasions to help bring in players and staff. We did this to bring in goalkeeping coach Tim Flowers (2010), Chris McPhee (2009), Dean Bennett (2007) and Jonny Mullins.

SPONSORED WALKS -

KHIST members walked to league games at Histon in September 2009  and Grays Athletic to raise funds for KHIST and Charity.

SCOUTING – In 2007

KHIST helped fund the club’s use of the Scout 7 system that enabled Manager Mark Yates to gain vital information on players/teams in the build up to games. KHIST have also helped out the current management team with scouting costs.

RED ARMY FUND (2007)

The campaign was started to raise money to improve the quality of the team on the pitch. Supporters contributed via a monthly contribution. Details.

COVER THE PITCH CAMPAIGN (2007) -

KHIST collected loose change at home games.
