Welcome to the society that came from a feeling that true fans needed an independent organisation.
Formed in 2003 KHIST is an Independent Supporters Trust run by Harriers fans and is part of the Supporters Direct initiative.
The trust aims to establish a link between the Board and the Supporters and enable two-way communication, all stemming from a need to feel that we are doing something positive to support the Club. KHIST also aims to strengthen the bonds between the Club and the community it serves and to represent the views of the local community and supporters in the running of the Club.
All Harriers supporters are encouraged to join KHIST as the higher the support, the louder the voice! Click here to be taken to the signup page.
In the short time since its launch, KHIST has also run a number of fundraising initiatives. The money raised by these initiatives so far have already reaped rewards for the Harriers & supporters alike.
Following KHFC’s financial difficulties that surfaced in November 2010 KHIST stepped up its fundraising efforts and lauched the 2020 monthly lottery which now brings in over £2000 every month. Approaching its fourth anniversary the lottery has raised over £94,000.
In March 2011 KHIST achieved one of its major objectives when Mr Karl Davies was appointed on the board of Kidderminster Harriers as KHIST’s representative. details This role is currently undertaken by Geoff Coles.
Aswell as our fundraising activities KHIST
– Fund an advertsing board
– Feature in every KHFC match programme and sponsor the centre page.
– Run the KHIST Player of the month award.
– Provide volunteers to KHFC – details
– Provide away travel to certain games.
Aside from the match-day action at Aggborough, there are also two fan-managed football teams that run during the course of the regular football season. On match-day Saturday morning’s, the KHIST Fans Team play against the fans of the Harriers opponents. The team is open to Harriers fans of all ages and abilities – please see the fans’ team website at www.harriersfansteam.co.uk for more information.
Harriers Trust FC are the other team, which was setup in 2003 as a registered Kidderminster & District Football League team, playing matches on Sundays. Since then, the Harriers Trust FC side have enjoyed tremendous success with back-to-back promotions leading right into the Kidderminster Premier League!
