KHIST 2020 CLUB LOTTERY

This scheme has the full backing of Kidderminster Harriers Football Club.

Following the developments at Kidderminster Harriers Football Club in November 2010 the Trust board looked at ways of bringing in regular funds to invest in the future of KHFC. We held many fundraising activities during the year but given the serious situation the club found itself in it was felt that we should step up our efforts and look to contribute even more in these hard financial times.

We soon announced details of a monthly lottery with substantial cash prizes for winners with all funds raised going towards helping KHIST secure the future of KHFC and enjoy at least another successful ten years, hence the name ‘2020 club’.

The KHIST board exchange monies for shares in KHFC where possible and agree with the Club what the money is used for and the terms on which it is passed across. With your help KHIST can raise funds to help Kidderminster Harriers flourish, and to increase supporter influence in the club. The monthly lottery is open to everyone.

The first ever draw took place on the 10th January 2011 and raised a total of £1,155.70. The funds generated were passed over to KHFC to help meet the January 2011 player wage shortage amongst other things. During the first year £21,732.90 was raised by the KHIST 2020 lottery, increasing to £46,637.75 at the end of the second year. The lottery continues to grow and now brings in over £2,000 every month and in just over four years has raised over £100,000 for the benefit of Kidderminster Harriers!

How do I join?

There are many ways that you can take part.

1 – Standing Order -The easiest way to join is to fill out the mandate form to guarantee monthly entry. Each pound gives you one number in the draw and you can have as many numbers as you wish!

2 – Cheque (12 months entry) – We accept a one off payment by cheque for 12 months entry.

3 – Cash Tickets – These are on sale throughout the month from KHIST board members.

4 – Online Tickets – We accept online entries via our shop. You may purchase a minimum of five numbers HERE

Upon payment each member will receive a personal number for each £1 contributed that will be entered into the monthly draw. The same number(s) will be entered each month upon payment.
