12th Man Winner, Tom Paine, Officially Joins KHFC Squad
The official team photograph for the new season was taken at Aggborough yesterday where the latest addition to the squad and winner of our 12th Man competition, Thomas Paine, was formally introduced to his team mates.
Of his 12th Man win, Tom said “Winning 12th Man is just fantastic. I am delighted to be part of the Kidderminster Harriers Squad”
Tom, who originates from Kidderminster, has been fully supporting the Harriers since 2008. Whilst studying at University in Bangor a close friend was a ‘die hard’ Wrexham supporter in the year they got relegated, and Tom wanting to get back at him by starting to support the Harriers.
Memories of the first game, Tom recalls a 1-1 draw against Altrincham back in 2000.
His most memorable game is against Newport (away) last season in which we scored the winner in the 93rd minute to go top of the league for the first time.
Away from football Tom enjoys music and drama and is a member of the Kidderminster Amateur Dramatic Society (KODS).
We all welcome Tom to the official KHFC squad and take this opportunity to thank everyone at the Club for making Tom’s day yesterday so special.
Our thanks also to all of our members who supported our 12th Man campaign this season.
Look out for Tom’s editorial contributions in the matchday programme throughout the season.
