F A Trophy replay re-run last night

Around 50 people attended the Trophy re-run last night, including Captain Crazy.

Joining us from the team and management from left to right in the attached photo (courtesy of Stefan Rapacz) were

John Barton, Colin Youngjohns, Paul Davies, Colin Brazier, Graham Allner, Mick Tuohy, Dave Reynolds and Kim Casey.

Colin Boxall had to send his apologies at the last minute but passed on his best wishes, saying

I remember the game as if it were yesterday, the Kiddy fans were bloody brilliant and the atmosphere electric. I knew we were going to win, it was just meant to be. It was appropriate that ‘Ocker’ should score both goals after his unbelievable miss at Wembley!!!!

Great team, great mates, great management, great support, great days!!!.

Mark Searl kindly acted as MC and tribute was paid to the late Chris Jones.

Graham Allner started the night off by giving us his memories of the Cup run, following which the game was then shown on The Academy’s big screen. Afterwards the players fielded questions from the audience. The event was much appreciated by all, the players and management enjoying the opportunity to re-live experiences.

Many thanks to everyone who supported the event and who had the opportunity to meet some Harriers’ legends.
