KHIST / KHFC Joint Statement

The following is a joint statement from Kidderminster Harriers Football Club (KHFC) and Kidderminster Harriers Independent Supporters Trust (KHIST).

It is with regret today that we announce the resignation of KHIST representative, Karl Davies, from the Board of KHFC.

A full-time businessman, Davies confirmed that he is no longer able to commit the vast amounts of time required to his role with KHFC and still give his own company the commitment it needs.

He said: “My company has, like many, had a tough ride with the economic climate in its current state.

“I am at a point where I, understandably, need to focus all of my efforts and drive on the company and this makes it simply impossible to also handle the workload involved with being a KHFC Director.

“My decision to resign from the Board is a reluctant one, especially as I have enjoyed a very close relationship with the other KHFC Directors in what has been a very rewarding role.”

Harriers Chairman, Mark Serrell added his thoughts, commenting: “The KHFC Board would like to thank Karl for all of his hard word during his time as a Director; it is our belief that he represented the fans of Kidderminster Harriers superbly.

“His enthusiasm and commitment will certainly be missed.”

Both parties can confirm that meetings between the two bodies will take place in due course to discuss a replacement representative for KHIST on the KHFC Board.
