London Marathon

Next weekend our former chairman Dave Pountney, will be running the London Marathon raising money for JDRF.

JDRF is the world’s leading charitable funder of type 1 diabetes research and raise money to drive world class research. They aim to find new ways to treat type 1 diabetes and its complications, prevent type 1 from developing and find the cure for people who already have the condition.

The London Marathon is the latest in a long list of physical challenges undertake by Dave since 2019 raising money for JDRF, following his daughter’s diagnosis with type 1 diabetes at the end of 2017.
