KHIST Statement

Following the Clubs exit from the FA Cup on Saturday, the Trust wishes to express its disappointment at the manner of the defeat…

KHIST Statement

Members of the KHIST Board have been delighted to have read the statement on the official club website, confirming that the unfortunate dispute between the Board of Directors and two of our club’s most loyal supporters, and long term benefactors, has now been amicably resolved, in the best interests of Kidderminster Harriers.

On behalf of our members and all Harriers’ supporters we would like to express our appreciation to Kath and Ernie Lane for their renewed financial support of our football club.

KHIST Statement

Supporters of Kidderminster Harriers will have seen yesterday’s announcement in which the club is seeking fresh investment to support the 14/15 playing budget.

KHIST are extremely disappointed with this news. The Trust, together with our members, would have expected at least the medium term financial future of the club to have been protected, especially in light of substantial income received from a number of recent transfers and last season’s cup run. We would have expected more effective stewardship of the proceeds received during the club’s period of financial good fortune during the last 18 months.

However we will continue to address supporters’ concerns, try to find solutions to this current situation and do what is in the best interests of Kidderminster Harriers Football Club.

KHIST has achieved a number of notable successes in the interests of supporters since its formation in 2003, and we continue to work proactively for the benefit of our football club, We are delighted therefore to be able to report that last week we secured the designation of Aggborough Stadium as an Asset of Community Value (ACV). We would like remind supporters to renew their KHIST membership or to join KHIST, bearing in mind that all proceeds from KHIST events, lotteries and memberships are used to invest in the club.

Finally we call on all supporters to show solidarity with our club by attending the next home game versus Gateshead, on 6th September. This match coincides with non-League Day, and admission prices for this match have been reduced significantly The KHIST AGM will be held immediately after the match at 5pm in the Social Club.

KHIST Statement

KHIST acknowledges the Club’s statement, which has just been released and now needs time to allow for members of the KHIST Board to collect their thoughts.

We will issue a further statement within the next 24 hours.
