Harriers were dealt a late and cruel blow in a tightly contested affair against the Heed, as McLaughlin scored deep into injury time to give Gateshead the win. The players will be left wondering just how we didn’t get something from this game, after Snedker had made some impressive saves throughout the match and with Harriers creating one or two decent chances themselves.

Despite dominating the large majority of proceedings, Harriers slipped to a 1-0 defeat at home to Southport last weekend courtesy of a late headed goal from former Harrier Andy Bishop.
Harriers created chances throughout the match and for most of the game looked the side more likely to score. The closest of efforts came in the first half through the impressive Ben Whitfield, with his curling effort coming back off the post and a further effort clipping the bar.
