Fans’ Team Day at Aggborough on Saturday

12.30pm v Bury FC
3pm v Stoke City
5.30pm – Harriers Trust v West Bromwich Albion
The Harriers fans team and sunday side will play their annual end of season games at Aggborough Stadium on Saturday 19th May which will once again be followed by both sides presentation evening up in the Aggborough Suite.
The Harriers fans team have used nearly 50 players so far this season and will be spolit into THREE SIDES to take on different opposition.
The games will kick off at 10am, 12.30pm and 3pm and each fans side will include former/current players or club staff. Then at 5.30pm the Harriers Trust sunday side will get their turn on the hallowed turf.
After the football the Harriers fans team and Harriers Trust sunday side will hold their annual presentation evening in the Aggborough Suite. Tickets are £3 for guests with a buffet and disco planned.
Admission to the fans games is £1 for which you will recieve a match programme. The Aggborough Suite will also be open from 12 noon for those less althletic to take in the game and a drink or two.
ALL money made from the day will go to Kidderminster Harriers Football Club and this year we hope to once again raise in excess of £1500.
The first event was held in 2008 and since then has become the highlight of the fans team season with cameo’s from a range of past and present KHFC squad members and management.
In 2009 we turned the day into a fundraising event and raised £1000 for KHFC with two games against Oxford United and AFC Halifax. This was betttered in 2010 when three games were played and £1631 raised with games against Tranmere Rovers, Preston North End and AFC Halifax.
Last year we played four games against Redditch United, Stafford Rangers, AFC Wimbledon and raised a record £1700 plus considerable bar takings!
Those players invited to play will enjoy –
– Full use of home changing rooms before and after game
– Full match officials
– Matchday experience in terms of the ref buzzes you out of changies, line up in
the tunnel etc, access to dug-outs. The scoreboard and tannoy system will be in operation.
– Food will be provided in the Aggborough Suite after your game and a man of the match trophy awarded.
– A photographer will be taking pictures and possibly being videoed.
– Specatators will be charged £1 and will recieve a match programme along with the players.
– Each fans team shall contain former KHFC players and current management and staff.
– And of course a 90 minute match!
