Fans Team heads for Final showdown on Friday

IFA Supporters Cup Final & World Net 2012
20th-22nd July 2012

The Harriers fans team travels up to Leeds University this Friday for the final of the British Supporters Cup Final against Ayr United. Harriers will look to go one better than last year when they were losing finalists to Preston North End.

It will be another tough game though for the Worcestershire side against the current British league runners up Kaisayr. Confidence is high though after despatching Stoke City, Hearts, Hull City and Motherwell to once again reach the final that kicks off at 6pm on Friday 20th July. Both sides have only ever met once before at World Net drawing 0-0 in 2009. The draw for the 2012/13 season competition will then take place after the final.

Harriers will then take part in the 17th Annual Supporters World Net tournament, organised by the Internet Football Association, for the fourth time over the weekend. Supporters teams from throughout Britain and further afield will take part in the tournament with over 50 sides competing.

Harriers will meet Bury, Hull City and Hearts in the group stages on Saturday 21st July with friendlies also arranged with Livingston and Peterborough United. Depending on the group finishing positions Harriers will then compete in knockout football on the Sunday before returning home for a well earned rest.
