‘Harriers Trust’ win in the Fireshield.

We’re pleased to be able to report that Harriers Trust FC has, yet again, had success in knockout competition, with a 5 – 0 away win at Netherton in the 1st Round of the Kidderminster & District League’s ‘Fireshield trophy’.

The goalscorers were: Matt Kerby (2), Jono Seekings (2) and Ryan Rowe.

As the current holders of the trophy … having also triumphed in the previous season … the club is looking to make a bit of history. No club has yet had its name on the trophy in 3 successive seasons, so the ambition is for this year’s winners to be the first to achieve that feat.

‘The Trust’ has now been drawn away at Alveley FC in the 2nd Round. This will be a mid-week fixture on a date yet to be agreed between the two clubs. All matches have to be played by 13th April, in time for the winners to go on to play in the Quarter Finals on or before 20th April.

It’s early days but, if the club’s current form can be maintained, there’s every hope of a successful run, with the ultimate potential of picking up the trophy for that record 3rd time.
