In Memory

As recently announced, the Harriers’ have introduced an online ‘In Memory’ project enabling supporters to record their permanent memories  of  friends and family members, no longer with us, who have given support to the club during their lifetime. This is a feature we are confident will be well received by the fans and, which KHIST is very keen to promote on behalf of our members and all Kidderminster Harriers Supporters.

We are grateful  to the club for the suggestion that the Trust might make our own contribution and are now taking the opportunity to honour the memory of our friend and former KHIST Chairman,, Steve Millington.

The following tribute has now been added to the site

In Memory of Steve Millington

Steve, a true ‘Harrier’, sadly passed away, after a short illness on 2nd November 2013 and is fondly remembered by his family and friends. He was a founder member of KHIST in 2003, having been heavily involved in the Trust’s formation, and initially served as Treasurer. For many people, he was the driving force of the Trust and it was his enthusiasm that helped rescue our football club in its darkest financial days. He was KHIST Chairman when, in 2011, he was foremost in co-ordinating the emergency fundraising activities which enabled the club to avoid imminent administration and potential liquidation.

Steve had drive and vision and an infectious sense of humour. He put the interests of others before his own and his life is remembered with great affection.

Kidderminster Harriers supporters past and present owe Steve Millington an enormous debt of gratitude and his legacy lives on.
