Introducing KHIST’s Latest Board Member
We are delighted to welcome Phil Wright onto the KHIST Board.
On his appointment Phil said ‘ I am 67, born and bred in Kidderminster, and have lived in the Town nearly all of my life except for a short time after we were married and then during the 1980’s when we had moved to Weston-Super-Mare to care for my Mother. Literally within days Ruth and I and our then young family became involved with the Football Club forming a Limited Company, moving to a new Ground and establishing a sound commercial basis for the years ahead.
However during those years we all seized every opportunity to watch the Harriers usually only midweek whether it was home or away.
Then in the late 1980’s we moved back to Kidderminster when I was appointed Commercial Manager at Aggborough.
The first Match that I can recall, is the first ever F.A. Cup Match under Floodlights, when we played Brierley Hill Alliance and the rest they say is history………..
As a family we have always enjoyed our involvement with football and was delighted when it was suggested that I be co-opted to the KHIST Board and help with ideas for fundraising. ‘
Always a Harrier!
