Join the Red Army at Mansfield

Kidderminster Harriers, in conjunction with KHIST, are slashing the price of away travel to the club’s upcoming away day at Mansfield Town in the Blue Square Bet Premier.

With the continuance of the team’s tremendous form and the gradual improvement of the club’s off-field position, attendances at Aggborough have been on the increase lately. But the numbers of those backing the side away from home have also been rising – more than 200 fans taking in the 2-1 win at AFC Wimbledon last weekend and even more set to make the trip to Field Mill on March 26th (12noon kick-off).

To boost the travelling army even further, prices for official coach travel are being significantly reduced to just £10.00 per-person, across the board.

The club is aiming to fill at least two coaches on the day and possibly more as the reds make the difficult trip to face the Stags, looking for more points towards their play-off push.

Harriers and KHIST Board member Karl Davies told harriers.co.uk today: “We want to christen this ‘Red Army Day’ and get as many people on coaches to Mansfield as possible to support the players. “Support has fantastic all season and we really just want to keep that momentum rolling – hopefully by making it such a low price, people will take up the offer.”

Harriers are insisting, however, that all supporters wishing to take up the offer and travel to Field Mill must book up at the Aggborough Ticket Office in advance. Contact can either be made in person or by phone on 01562 823 931 or via e-mail to info@harriers.co.uk. 

Apart from that, the only request we have is that anyone travelling to Mansfield to back Harriers do so in their club colours, to help ensure the red army is out in numbers, loud and proud – come on you reds! So bring your flags, balloons and voices as we hope to create a fantastic atmosphere!

Price: £10 per-person.

Note – The Aggborough Suite is being opened from 1.30pm on the day to allow supporters to enjoy the England/Wales game live on the big screen. If your travelling to Mansfield, why not take in the second half with other Harriers fans once you get home?
