Harriers kicked-off the season in thrilling style on a baking Summer afternoon, coming back from behind twice against pre-season promotion favourites Grimsby Town this weekend.

Grimsby came out of the traps with all guns blazing and could have been disappointed not to be more than 1-0 at half-time, courtesy of a multitude of top saves from Harriers ‘keeper Snedker.  A determined Harriers side saw the hard-working Reece Styche pull back the first goal, before Aman Verma’s injury time looping header nestled into the back corner, sending the Aggborough faithful into raptures for a hard-earned point.

About the KHIST Player of the Month Award

The KHIST Player of the Month award has been running for many seasons, to give fans the chance to recognise a Harriers player for their performances.  This works by Harriers fans placing their Man of the Match vote after each Harriers home game right here on the KHIST website.  At the end of each month of games, the votes are tallied and the winning Harriers player is presented by a KHIST Member with a trophy for that month.  If you are interested in presenting a future trophy, please contact us using the contact form here.
