KHIST & KHFC JOIN FORCES TO SUPPORT THOSE LESS FORTUNATE THIS CHRISTMAS

We are pleased to announce a joint initiative with KHFC in an effort to support those within our local community who have fallen upon hard times this Christmas.

The Kidderminster Foodbank support those who have been identified by Care Professionals as ‘in crisis’ and are issued with a foodbank voucher which can be exchanged for three days’ supply of emergency food.

With us all to embark upon the customary seasonal celebrations please bear a thought for those who will, through no fault of their own, struggle this Christmas.

On Saturday 20th December we are arranging collection points at the turnstiles to receive donations for this very worthy cause. If you can spare anything from the shopping list below please donate this on Saturday. Your kind gesture will ensure that others can enjoy a well-balanced and nutritious meal this Christmas.

Geoff Coles, Chairman of KHIST said ‘We all sometimes take for granted that we will invariably eat well at Christmas. It is a privilege to be part of this joint initiative with the Club to take a moment to consider those in our community who are in crisis. The supporters of Kidderminster Harriers FC have demonstrated their generosity many times in the past and I do hope that they will be able to make a donation on Saturday’

Ken Rae, Chairman of KHFC said ‘ In getting involved with KHIST in this initiative, we wanted to do everything we could to support our local community and assist those who are less fortunate than ourselves so that they may also enjoy this Christmas’

We hope that you be able to make a donation, however small, for this worthy local cause.

Thank You.
