Kidderminster Harriers Football Club is in severe financial difficulties…

Kidderminster Harriers Football Club is in severe financial difficulties. We believe the club is on the verge of administration. Efforts to find a buyer to save the club have so far failed. Whilst we believe the majority of Harriers supporters are aware of this critical situation, we believe the wider football loving community are unaware of how serious our situation has become.

The irony of our current situation is that this week we celebrated the anniversary of being the last non league club to qualify for the 5th round of the FA Cup, until Crawley took that distinction away last Saturday. Whilst media spotlight quite rightly has fallen on them, our precarious situation has largely gone unnoticed outside of the local area. This only goes to show how fortunes can change in the game of football.

The football club urgently need the support of not only the good people of our local community, but also those who have affection and happy memories of this famous and unique club. We have a home game this Saturday against Bath City. We urge you to attend this game, not only to provide support for our team challenging for a play off spot, but to contribute financially if you are able. Even coming through the turnstiles would be a huge financial boost for the club. We estimate that if the attendance increased by 1000, that could raise approximately £15,000 in extra income for the club.

If you are able to provide substantial funds to help save our club we would be delighted to speak to you on Saturday. You will find KHIST members around the ground, before, during and after the match. Please make yourself known. Alternatively, contact the club direct. If you are in a position to give generously now is the time to step forward. We urgently need your help and support.
