Non League Day 2014 – Sat 6th Sept – KHFC vs Gateshead!
KIDDERMINSTER HARRIERS v Gateshead
Vanarama Conference (3pm kick off)
Non-League Day is a day set aside in English football where supporters of clubs playing at the highest levels of the game are encouraged to experience football at non-league level with which they may be unfamiliar. Started in 2010 the day is set to coincide with a break in fixtures within the football calendar when the Premier League and Championship sides do not have games due to international fixtures.
For the first time in five seasons we have a home game here at Aggborough on Non League Day when we host Gateshead in a league fixture and we hope to make it a very special day.
We will be offering reduced entry to this game as we aim to pack Aggborough. On top of this generous discount we will also be admitting Under 16’s to the ground for just £1 with a paying adult.
We hope that Harriers fans will get behind this initiative and encourage family & friends to come along to Aggborough. You can help us by printing off this poster and display around the local area. We also have plenty else organised for the afternoon at Aggborough that will be revealed very soon as we build up to the game.
There are several aims and advantages to non-league day. Firstly, it gives us a fantastic opportunity and platform to showcase everything we love about football at this level, to show off our fantastic stadium and facilities and, of course, the excellent team that Gary Whild and his staff have assembled. It offers a chance for our regular supporters who pay on the day to save up to £4.00 on match admission, while also offering a real incentive for fans of Aston Villa, West Brom, Wolves and Birmingham City – who will not have a game that day – to sample the Aggborough atmosphere at a knock-down price. For example, a parent and two children can attend this special game together for just £12 rather than the regular price of £24! (See above for details).
Supporters wishing to come along can pay at the turnstiles on the day or purchase in advance from the Aggborough Ticket Office between 9am and 5pm on weekdays. We encourage local football supporters to make a ‘stand’ for non-league football, and to get involved in Non League Day.
