Statement following KHFC and KHIST Meeting
A JOINT STATEMENT FROM KIDDERMINSTER HARRIERS FOOTBALL CLUB (KHFC) AND KIDDERMINSTER HARRIERS INDEPENDENT SUPPORTERS TRUST (KHIST).
Following a meeting this afternoon (Tuesday, 2 November 2010) between KHFC Chairman Dave Reynolds, KHFC Directors Mark Serrell and Wayne Allen, KHIST Acting Chairman, Dave Pountney and Treasurer Steve Millington, KHIST would like to thank KHFC for being completely open as to the Club’s current situation, further details of which will be revealed at the forthcoming Fans’ Meeting. KHIST encourages its members and all supporters to make the effort to attend.
KHFC would like to see all supporters becoming members of KHIST as the fans’ representative body and has agreed it is sensible to have regular monthly meetings with KHIST going forward.
Several possibilities and ways in which supporters could help the Club were discussed, both financially and voluntarily, and we will be working jointly on the suggestions over the next week or so.
The Club obviously needs help from the wider community in the short-term and KHIST would like to see all supporters, even if they haven’t been to Aggborough for a while, come along to the Rushden & Diamonds home game on Tuesday 9 November to boost the attendance and income for the Club. Why not bring along a friend, too?
Later this week, KHIST will be announcing a major fundraising initiative which has KHFC’s full endorsement. KHFC and KHIST would encourage all fans, friends and acquaintances to support this to provide longer term stability for the Club.
KHIST recognises that the Club needs everyone’s combined help at this time and would ask you all to give as much support as you can to ensure KHFC’s future.
