Welcome to our new Treasurer

The KHIST board would like to welcome Gareth Doyle as our new Treasurer.

We would also like to thank Leighton Pickett for all his hard work over the last 2 and a half years and wish him well in the future.

“I have seen supporting the Harriers since the 67/68 season, inspired by the 66 World Cup and seen it through the good and bad times throughout their turbulent years. Both my wife and I won supporter of the year in 95/96 when the Harriers sponsors were Holsten.

Educated locally in Bromsgrove I spent most of my life in the carpet in industry with a number of manufacturers and since early retirement find time to help out with the local Museum of carpet.

I was a football referee for 21 years in both Kidderminster, Bromsgrove and Stourport boys leagues and have recently just completed over 40 years voluntary work within the Scout movement.

Retirement is the best job i have ever had as it allows both my wife and I to indulge in our passion of walking and exploring the world.

The Harriers have given me a lot of pleasure and heartache over the years so i feel it is time for me to indirectly give something back to them by offering my time to supporting KHIST in their efforts for the Harriers.”
