Will you be part of History?

The Harriers will celebrate their 125 year anniversary this Saturday at Aggborough Stadium when newly promoted Alfreton Town visit.

We’d like to urge the local community to once again come out in force and celebrate our birthday weekend and to be a part of the next 125 years history.Let’s make it a carnival atmosphere as we want supporters to make it a ‘RED DAY’. We want all supporters to wear their colours with pride.

If every regular supporter brings just one member of family or friend just think of the difference it could make not only to the team but also to the club’s finances! The football has certainly been exciting so far this season at Aggborough but there is plenty more going on this Saturday –

RED AND WHITE HALVES RETURN – the Harriers will wear a one off red and white halved strip featuring one of the clubs most popular designs and the old style crest.

SPECIAL 50/50 – the lucky winner of the lottery will be able to select any one of the match worn shirts from the day

LEGENDS – former players including Delwyn Humphreys, Chris Brindley and many more will be presented to the crowd at half time by former match announcer Captain Crazy!

BALLOON RACE – the launch of the red/white balloon race at half time.

HALF TIME ENTERTAINMENT by the Expressions school of dance

SPECIAL BEERS – will be available in the Harriers Arms and the Academy for real ale enthusiasts.

Pupils from local schools have also been invited to watch the game for free with parents given discounted admission.

So lots going on for all ages with plenty more to be announced leading up to the game.

So will you be part of history?
