A message from Nuneaton

This letter was received this morning from the Nuneaton Borough Supporters’ Co-operative.

We should all be proud that we, at Kidderminster Harriers, turned out in our numbers to help the Boro’ fans, in desperate times for their club. We’ve been in a similar situation ourselves in the not too distant past, so we understand how important the collective efforts of the non-league fraternity  can be to their survival.

Dear Ian,

Many thanks for your letter of 7 March, enclosing a cheque following the appeal organised by your good selves.

Both John and myself were overwhelmed by the generosity of the Harriers faithful, last Saturday was truly an emotional experience and one that will stay with us for ever. The amount raised was amazing and a credit to the Board members of KHIST, your members and Harriers supporters, thank you all so much.

We will be attending a meeting at the club on Monday morning which is basically a follow up with potential investors and at that time we should have a better indication of the way forward. We sincerely hope that the others, who have indicated to take up a 10% stake in the club, will come forward with positive news, especially bearing in HMRC Winding up order will be heard on 28 March.

Rest assured we are working closely with SD and have no intention of wasting your superb contribution. Thank you so much.

On behalf of the Trust we would like to express thanks to everyone who donated to our Appeal.
