Football at Aggborough this week
Missing the visits to Aggborough already? Well, here’s three events that might tempt you down to the Harriers later this week
Firstly, on Thursday 9 May, to mark 10 years since formation of Harriers Trust FC, the present team will be taking on a squad of Harriers Trust All Stars at 19.00. Harriers Trust FC currently lie sixth in the Kidderminster and District League Sunday Premier Division.
Then, on Saturday 11 May, it’s the Harriers Fans’ Team Day. Three fans’ teams will take on opposition from Burton Albion at 10.00 am, Wrexham at 12.30 and Worcester City at 15.00. There will also be a number of former Harriers players taking part with Stuart Brock, Delwyn Humphries, and Adie Smith announced so far, together with Steve Guinan, Gavin Crowe and Andy Fearn. And there’s a penalty competition against Nathan Vaughan. All this for just £1 entry!
Finally, on Sunday 12 May, it’s the Charity Fun Day when Steve Burr’s XI take on Jody Craddock’s XI at 14.00 in aid of Cords4Life, Balls to Cancer and Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
