KHFC vs Macclesfield Town – KHIST POTM Man of the Match – Vote Now!

Harriers finally got their home Blue Square Bet Premier campaign up and running on Saturday when they flew to a 3-0 victory over Macclesfield Town at Aggborough.

In the first Conference meeting between the sides since 1996, with Harriers buoyed by their midweek win over Cambridge United, it was the hosts who broke the deadlock shortly before half-time when Chey Dunkley timed his run perfectly to head home Callum Gittings’ corner.

As the visitors drifted out of the game further in the second period, Harriers extended their lead and Ryan Rowe, who had netted a hat-trick at Cambridge, finished off some neat interplay with Mickey Demetriou to slot home, before substitute Marvin Johnson finished with the outside of his foot after Keith Briggs’ perfectly weighted quick free kick from the halfway line.

So there was delight at Aggborough for the first time this season, but who was your Man of the Match?
