KHIST Annual General Meeting 2009

26 members attended the meeting on Saturday after the Luton Town game.

Highlights of the meeting included the Chairman’s Report in which Dave Weaver emphasised that KHIST remained totally committed to supporting the Club, its Board, its Manager and the Team, in all of their activities. This report and also that of Steve Millington, the Treasurer, were approved unanimously. Harben Barker Ltd. were reappointed as the Society’s auditors for the next financial year and those present also approved the appointment/reappointment of Steve Millington, Laura Crane and Martin Lewis to the KHIST Board.

In the Question and Answer session which followed the formal business, Martin Lewis, the Secretary, highlighted the current campaign to recruit more members to KHIST. Subscription rates were also discussed and it was noted that the reduction to a £1 minimum last year produced a doubling of the membership and a significant rise in donations.
