KHIST Fans’ Team – update 2
This is a reminder that our Harriers Fans’ Team is to take part in this summer’s World Net Supporters’ Tournament, which will take place in Nottingham over the weekend of 6th and 7th July.
A number of experienced players who have previously represented the Trust in many games up and down the country over the years will make up the nucleus of the squad. Sadly, however, their legs don’t move as quickly as they used to, so this year they are to compete in the veterans’ tournament (over 35’s) for the very first time. Over that weekend, Harriers will take on supporters’ teams from Manchester United, Everton, Portsmouth, Oxford United and Ipswich Town, amongst others.
However, we are still looking for players to make up the squad as they are sure to lose a few to injury, hangovers or both!
The team will depart on the Saturday morning and play group games throughout the day, followed by a night out in Nottingham. Games on the Sunday will then be played as knockout football ……. you shouldn’t be late back!
