The Trust and the Social Club
KHIST Board Members, Ian Nash, Dave Wiliams and Stuart Walstrom were pleased to represent the Trust at yesterday’s AGM of the Kidderminster Harriers Social & Supporters’ Club and were very pleased to be informed that, our mutually advantageous agreement, whereby we have free use of the club’s facilities for our meetings, events and social gatherings, has been very successful in raising the club’s profile, with a significant increase in its membership.
Trust members have free access to the club on matchdays, on showing their KHIST membership cards and, whilst access at other times requires KHSSC membership, this can be arranged for a nominal fee.
Facilities include a recently refurbished members’ lounge, a well-stocked bar, with regular interchangeable real ales (food is usually available on match-days), traditional pub games – pool, snooker, darts, dominoes and crib. The club has both Sky and BT Sports Channels, with sporting events prioritized in the members’ lounge. It also has an extensive function room. These facilities will be improved and upgraded as the club’s membership increases.
We are delighted to report that the club’s Chairman, Alan Woodhall, has recorded the success of the KHSSC / KHIST relationship and, has invited us to continue to use the club as our base for as long as we wish. In turn, we would like to invite even more of our own members to take advantage of the facilities available to us and, particularly to socialise with others on matchdays.
Enjoy the football season !
