The Trust’s Fans’ Team

The KHIST Harriers Supporters’ Team will once again be taking part in the World Net Veterans Supporters’ Tournament, to be held at Nottingham in July 2020.

The team have been playing friendly matches and entering tournaments, since first established by KHIST, almost 20 years ago. A number of the players are still involved in the sport, but legs don’t move quite as quickly as they used to and the current team is now mostly restricted to veterans football. It will be a well experienced squad representing the Harriers’ faithful, next year.

The squad will need plenty of players for the two-day tournament, so if you are a Harriers supporter, aged 35 or over in July 2020, and would like to take part in this competition, you are invited to get in touch with Dave Pountney at:

Supporters’ teams from all over Europe compete in this tournament.
Harriers’ Fans teams have had notable successes, having previously reached the semi-finals of the open age tournament and, most memorably winning the British Supporters Cup. Harriers veterans will now be looking to improve on last year’s quarter final defeat to Gillingham.
