A message from Norway

Supporters will recall our disappointment when the much anticipated visit of the ‘Harriers of Norway‘ fans had to be cancelled, when our football season was brought to an untimely end due to coronavirus. We do, however, expect to welcome them to Kidderminster again, once restrictions have been relaxed and we can safely return to the stands and terraces at Aggborough. In the meantime, KHIST’s representation of supporters’ interests continues and we are keeping members, not least our friends in Norway, as fully informed as possible – mainly via this website.

Over the weekend, we have received a response from Norway, which we are now pleased to share with our UK (and other) members, below:-

“…………. thank you for the update,
All the Harriers of Norway supporters are in good health and I hope all you at KHIST are as well.
It is confusing times but your updates on KHIST and the clubs own updates on social media keeps us in good touch with both the fans and the club so that’s positive. Our biggest concern is the club’s financial status in this situation but hopefully it will stand though and get through. Let us just hope the season gets kicked off in September or earlier WITH the fans on the stands so they can get a more steady income again.
We are also following the transfer rumors with great excitement and hope that Russ Penn and the club will get in some “big names”, since the departure of Declan Weeks and Ashley Chambers were quite the disappointment for the fans here in Norway.
Looking forward to seeing you again ………………. stay safe!”
Lars

It’s good to know that our friends are continuing to receive news and messages from the Trust and, more importantly that they’re all keeping safe. We too are looking forward to meeting them again, and send our best wishes !
